The man stands out in the arena lifting his morning star up and down showing off to the crowd how strong he is. He points it at you as you walk into the arena. "Oh, that's a big sword you got there, you need some help lifting it?" The announcer shouts out to the crowd just as he finishes his taunt. "This will be an exciting match, big boar a professional gladiator against Elliott The rookie that has risen above the rest, will he preform as well as Carly, or will he go down, BEGIN!" Big boar brings his morning star up high above his head prepared to fight.

(I'm not sure how to react to this so)

During your attack as blood splatters across the arena and people eyes open wide as their pure blood lust people blink at the sight and in an instant it was over. The arena is silent and not even the announcer speaks at the bloody spectacle that was in the middle of the arena. The man's body is split to pieces and mutilated. Then finally a man's voice springs over the arena. "Elliott....Elliott wins!" People clap but keep their eyes open wide at the bloody scene.

(I didn't expect those numbers either. Maybe 200, but 500 surprised me. He would have stopped after Big Boar was dead. He wouldn't have kept hitting a dead corpse.)

Elliott shakes the blood from his swords and reattaches them to his back. "Sometimes you fight for the audience to see. Sometimes you fight for the other gladiators to see. Now they'll know fear." Elliott thinks to himself. He also knew that there had to be high stakes gambling on matches, and maybe he would attract some attention with that grisly display of power. He goes out next to Carly and starts reading his book. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that what he just did might have been a mistake. He couldn't kill like that too often, or the other gladiators would think him cruel and wouldn't want to join his guild. For all he knew, Big Boar might have been quality mercenary material. Nobody would have attacked a caravan guarded by a big morningstar like that. Elliott's savagery in the arena surprised him, and it took him back to Semphar when he felt like he needed to prove something to be worth something. He reminds himself why he's fighting in the arena in the first place. He needed respect now, not fear. He wasn't going to get respect by vulgar massacre. He dwells on himself and his own motives more than he reads and awaits his next match.

Rumours begin to spread quickly about you throughout the catacombs of the arena, different gladiators start talking about your skills in combat but also mention the efficiency of your killing. Several people glance over at you but avoid eye contact for fear of starting a fight. Your name is called again within about 10 minutes. Carly jumps at the sound of your name. "What?! Again, that's no fair when's my next match." She lays on her back at stairs at the ceiling. "Make it quick I hate this waiting." Layla chuckles. "Good job Elliott. It seems you've impressed them." She stands up and begins walking around. When you arrive in the arena there is a women standing on the other side. She is wearing a robe and has scars across her face. "Ladies, and gentleman this should be a fight to see! Elliott the rookie who has become a crowd favourite gladiator in just two days against the veteran Isabella. Who always kills according to the crowds wishes. Who will live, who will die. Lets find out! BEGIN!

Elliott takes a second to think about his new foe as the announcer is talking. He didn't assume she's be a psion because their powers were mostly invisible and wouldn't make for a good show. Either a mage or a monk. Either way this could get hairy fast if he was against magic. Her scars would have healed if she was inclined to magic though. Most likely a monk then. He draws a sword and flourishes it. He readies himself while sizing up his opponent.
