After the explosion Harry is gone without a trace. "I don't see Harry anywhere ladies and gentlemen, But Elliott the undying has survived the explosion, he is the winner of this match!!!" The crowd cheers very loudly for you.

Elliott stands back up. That was strange. Harry wasn't here for the match. He was here for Elliott specifically. Elliott flourishes his blades and waves to the crowd before exiting and asking Layla to see if she could find some info on Harry the Artificer.

When you get back to your seat you notice that there is a book, along with a jar of milk and a half dozen eggs, Carly walks up to you with a straight face and looks you dead in the eyes. "Would you like some bacon too?" Then she smiles and goes to sit back down. Layla glances at you. "Already done. He's an interesting man isn't he. Half human, half construct. And rather skilled at his craft, I'll keep looking for information on him, but right now all I know is that he teleported out of the arena before the sphere exploded. And I wasn't able to trace it. But he was testing you, he seems like a good ally to have. And I'm sure you'll see him again."

(Going back and forth between Elliott and halflings is confusing sometimes. For a second I thought, "Ooh we should throw the eggs at someone and run away!")

Elliott looks her back right in the eyes, "I would always like some bacon." Elliott sits down and listens to Layla. "Even without the half golem part, he was interesting. Who enters an arena fight without the intention to win? Maybe he put a large bet on me and then threw the match to make money. Hmm... And he was so calm even when he knew I could kill him at any moment. Very interesting indeed." Harry wasn't much of a challenge, but he could fulfill massive contracts on his own. He could protect an entire caravan by himself with 8 golems. Elliott starts to rethink only letting swordsmen whom he's trained into the guild. Perhaps an exception for extraordinarily remarkable individuals. He sits and channels his iron heart endurance for a while and heals the burn wounds. He takes the dragon books out of his pocket and sets them beside Layla before starting to read the new book and waiting on his next match.

Layla waves her hands over the books and the disappear. After about 40 minutes the announcer calls out two more names. "This next match should be very exciting! Two of best new rookies, Elliott and Carly!" Carly lifts her head and looks at you. "Shit."

Elliott laughs and slaps the book closed. "HAH! Oh, this is gonna be good. I wondered if we should have signed up as a doubles team to avoid this." He stands up and stretches with a big smile. "How do you wanna do this? Real fight until one of us goes down, or spar 'till one of us gets tired and concedes?"

Carly puts her weapon down next to Layla. "Can I help you with that."
"Yeah watch it for me." She turns to you with the biggest smile you've ever seen on her. "lets punch it out." She slams her fist into her open palm.

Elliott smiles and takes off his gauntlets. "Fine by me. Let's do this." He flexes his fingers and smacks his palm a few times. He leaves his swords and walks into the arena with Carly.

Everyone cheers for both of you as you walk into the arena. "This is the match that we've been waiting for the undefeated rookies fighting it out. And it seems that they've decided to do with their fists." The crowd cheers even louder and is on the edge of their seats. "Alright, let the brutal beating, BEGIN!" Carly raises her fists and comes at you.

The audience watches in anticipation while you and Carly punch each other and do seemingly no damage on either end. Then suddenly Carly falls onto the ground and appears to be unconscious. The entire audience sits dumbstruck with no response until the announcer begins speaking. "And just like that. Carly is down! It just a few punches Elliott has taken down the undefeated Carly. Can anyone stop this man!" Several audience members look at you with joy for defeated her and other look in disgust and fear that you did so, so quickly. The half-orcs come out to receive Carly.

Elliott didn't think he hit her that hard. He kneels beside her sort of worried. "Cmon, Carly. You don't have to fake it to make me look good."

If she doesn't respond, he throws her over his shoulder and carries her out and sits her next to Layla. "You didn't have anything to do with that, did you?"
