Elliott observes his men drilling strikes and parries. The recruits that surpassed Corvus by a month or less were already out on contracts. Elliott observes how Corvus' attacks and counters flow very well. "Corvus! Live training end. Brindt, pair up with Gmakris and Virden. Run steel wind and wall of blades the three of you." Elliott pulls a training sword from a rack. "Alright, I want a block and a swift counterstrike at me and the dummy. Go!" Elliott swings from above for Corvus and prepares to block Corvus' counterattack.

Attack: flat 12 (forgoing base attack)
Damage if he doesn't block: d8+3 d3nonlethal electricity (11 bludgeoning lethal, 2 nonlethal)
Parry attempt: +38 (Not worth doing the math on it)

Corvus sees Elliott approaching and quickly shifts into his Clarity Stance allowing him to focus on his mentor's strikes. He uses Wall of Blades in order to parry the incoming attack.

There's a loud electric crack each time your swords make contact. "Good parry, good counter, but look!" Elliott smacks his sword against the dummy next to him. "An untouched enemy when I've taught you how to hit both. Listen to instructions. You just gave him an edge on you. Again. I'll swing at you, you hit both of us." Elliott gives you a second to focus and flourish before swinging upward.

Frustrated at showing any sign of weakness in front of Elliott, Corvus focuses in and tries even harder.
Corvus flourishes his blade to get a better grip and motions Elliott forward.

Elliott smiles, tucks the sword under his arm, and claps a few times. "Alright, alright. Two very solid maneuvers. Keep on like this, and you'll do just fine." He walks over to the monoliths, "I know you've killed the rats before. I want to see you try the wolves. You ready, or do you need some time to prepare?" If you take the full 5 minutes to reset maneuvers and stuff, he summons a bearded devil and beats it down with his practice sword. Whenever you're ready, he says, "Canis Abyssus," and three snarling demonic wolves appear and start to circle you.

I'm not going to turn down an opportunity to be fresh for a fight. (He takes the full five minutes).
Corvus decides to for-go a stance since he will be fighting multiple opponents and instead readies a standard attack for if the beasts charge him immediately.

Since Corvus was prepared, he jumps at the chance to cut down his enemies numbers before they have a chance to flank him. He steps back so that he can swing at the two to his sides leaving the one in front.
