The goblin makes some weird hand gestures that seem similar to the "Follow me" gestures you're use to seeing. He keeps his sword out but not raised and is not in any kind of stance.

Elliott lowers his hand and stands straight again. "That's more like it. Let's hope they have an elder or someone who knows common. I'd hate to spend a long time learning how to communicate just to find out that they know nothing." He follows the hobgoblin with his own sword still out.

The hobgoblin begins to walk back down the path in the direction that you just came from.

"There had better be a secret path or something that we missed this way. Otherwise screw them, we're going deeper into the mountains." Elliott sighs and follows wherever the Hobgoblins lead unless Finrick tells him otherwise. He drinks from his everful mug as they walk.

Finrick stays behind you as you follow the hobgoblin. He takes you back over the ledge that you climbed over earlier. Finrick skates back down with an obvious smile showing how much fun he was having. The hobgoblin walks over to a spot in the wall that looks no different then the rest of it but then walks through. the rest of his tribe stands around you but doesn't get very close. Finrick looks up at you. "I suddenly just got a really bad feeling about this."

Elliott cautiously switches his absolute steel stance to hearing the air. He lets the tip of his sword rest against the ground. "Would you like for me to go first?"

If yes, Elliott presses his hand against the wall where the hobgoblin walked. If it passes through, Elliott follows it. He prepares to use diamond defense in case the enchantment affects his mind in any way.

If no, Elliott watches his contract attempt to pass through the wall.

As Elliott walks through the wall the other side is plagued with a foul smell as you look around you see candle sconces across the cave wall. And under them lays the dead bodies of several different types of adventures. Finrick enters in behind you and immediately grabs his nose at the smell. His eyes travel around the room looking at all the dead bodies. "I knew there was a reason I had a bad feeling about this." The hobgoblin points his sword down the cave pathway and utters something in goblin.

Elliott grabs Finrick's wrist and pulls him through. He had to try hard to resist, so he didn't know if Finrick could do it. After the goblin speaks, Elliott flourishes his sword and walks down the path. He makes a mental note in case Layla wants to read about the adventure later. "Okay then. Step one: breach illusion door. Complete."

If anything on the adventurers is obviously glowing and magical or full of gold, Elliott stashes it in his pocket.

He keeps his eyes open for traps. No knowing what those Shadow Hand swordsages could have come up with.

you find no traps as you search the dead adventures. The hobgoblin gives you a strange look as you take items off of the dead but doesn't try to stop you and doesn't say anything. you find.

Finrick helps you take some of the armor and weapons from the bodies and put into your pocket. Then he looks over at the hob goblin looking down the tunnel. "Well I think it's safe to assume we're heading the right way."

Elliott pulls the mouth of his pocket shut. "It seems that way. I always assumed the temple would be outside in the open air. Shall we?" Elliott walks down the passage keeping his eyes open for traps as he goes.

the entire passage is covered in candles and lights your whole path you don't discover any traps on your way down and eventually see a light shining in at the end of the passage. You walk out onto a ledge overlooking vast mountains ranges and appear to be outside once again. "What were you saying about the temple being outside?"

Elliott looks around at the landscape before him. Elliott smiles slightly and nudges Finrick's side with his knee, "Looks like I was right then, huh? Let's hope the rest of the monsters in here are at least as indifferent toward us as our hobgoblin friends." Elliott looks for a path and follows it. If no obvious course is found, he waits for the hobgoblins to follow.

No hobgoblins come from down the cave. They seem to have left you alone after you entered the tunnel. Finrick pulls out the map and looks over it some more. "Well I guess we just keep following the map then." It leads on for a little bit until Elliott and Finrick find themselves in a small passage between two mountains. Three enemies appear in front of you. Three enemies also appear behind you. They appear to be floating suits of armor surrounded by green fire and holding halberds. They fly rapidly towards you.
