You get some dust in your eyes, but all you hear is the loud clangs of rocks hitting shields. 

Blinded for 1 round.

"I wanna get me some of that." You hear Emmerson's first couple steps toward the shield noises. 
"There!" You don't see Andra pointing down the road, but you hear her first couple footsteps in a direction away from the shield noises.

When your eyes flush out the dust, Emmerson is standing beside the dwarves with his shield knocking rocks out of the air, and you see Andra disappear around the corner of a building 40 feet away.

He follows Andra with a mortalbane Eldritch Spear readied triggered by him seeing a goblin.

(The dice gods have been handing out poor attack rolls to players of late. I'm afraid to roll for the miss because that's almost enough to instantly kill Andra.)

Three goblins are standing around a leaking keg screaming and trying to slap the bats away. One is already dead. You see Andra hiding behind a stack of crates. She looks at you with a smug grin trying to hold back laughter.  

You throw your spear at the keg, but your spear falls very short and leaves a scorch mark on the ground. When the goblins see you, they run at you with their spears.

Bats damage: 1d6 (5)

The one you hit is consumed in the fire. It hits the ground with its torso only a ribcage half full with a steaming goo that used to be organs. As the two goblins charge past Andra's hiding spot, she tosses an eldritch blast at one. She hits it in the back. The blast briefly boils it spinal fluid and kills it. The one goblin left makes it to you with a charge and gashes your thigh for 2 damage.

(We do take extra posts for confirming crits, but usually don't bother with fumbles.)

After the flash of the blast, you open your eyes to see the goblin's body falls over with its shoulders topped by a steaming stump. Andra rushes over to you, "Oh man. I thought I'd have gotten them before they got to you. Is it bad?"

He staggers down to the ground "I'm not sure, that bastard got me in the leg it feels like hell but I don't think there's going to be any permanent damage. Was that the last of these damned creatures?" He attempts to get back up and limps over in the direction he last heard Emmerson go.

[Elliott the Undying]

You see Emmerson batting rocks away with his shield looking like he's having the time of his life. Andra summons a bat swarm in the middle of the goblin rock throwers, and they scatter and scurry back to the mountains.

He limps over to Emmerson "We did it! We got all of those bastards!"

Emmerson turns around to you. His face is adorned with a cut above his left eye and a huge smile. "Baator yes we did! WOO!" He clenches his fists and howls at the sky.
 A passing dwarf hits Emmerson's shield with his own. "Don't get yer pants wet. They're jost goblins anyway. Just ye wait 'tell the giants start raidin' next season."
Emmerson looks at you with big puppy dog eyes. "We can stay here, can't we? Just one giant raid. Pleeeeease?"
Andra facepalms but then looks up. "I'll admit, burning the little ones was fun. Imagine the big dumb ones."

[Zaueski]

"We're expected in Hluthvar though. However we might be able to swing by in a few months after our business is concluded with Nabadach's" He smiles devilishly with only a slight wince as his leg is moved.

[Elliott the Undying]

"Alright. When we come South, we're stopping here until the Giants raid." Emmerson and Andra go back into the bunkhouse to sleep the night.

[Zaueski]

He follows them and heads back to sleep if nothing else happens.

Nothing exciting happens. Some drunk dwarves stumble in talking at a "reasonble volume" after you all have gone to bed, but you sleep through the night and recover 2 hp.

[Zaueski]

When he wakes up he groggily shuffles out of the dark room and stubs his toe on the bed. "Ah dammit! Who put this blasted bed here?!" In his frustration a small bit of fire dances between his fingertips and suddenly vanishes and reappears in his vision for a brief second. Phinneas drops to his knees and yells clutching his eyes. When he opens them he sees perfectly in the darkness. "What the hell just happened? I should be almost blind here? Andra? Please come here I don't know what's happening to me. Something weird is going on here!" He calls out to her.
(I took the invocation 'See the Unseen' in case you're wondering where this is from)

Andra's voice comes out of the darkness you can mysteriously see through. It sounds more annoyed than concerned. "What? What?"
"Aah, quit yer hollerin'! Some of us have to work tomorrow!"

[Zaueski]

"Something's wrong with my eyes! I can see perfectly right now except there's no color!" He goes over to her and whispers "Is this the power we inherited? Do you know anything about it?"
