As you look around the town you notice that none of the buildings actually have doors on them. Instead all the doors and windows are drawn onto the buildings. In the middle of the town sits a building built entirely out of blue bricks. Everyone in the town seems to walk around it as if it didn't exist. The doors and windows on this building seem to be very real.

This just keeps getting weirder. Coraliss begins to head towards the blue building. "Well seeing as this is the only building we can actually go into I say we check it out. But be on our guard. Coraliss readies her staff as she opens the door.

When you open the doors several people all turn to look at you. Smiles are already spread across their faces and they quickly surround you telling you about how wonderful the city is.

All the people continue smiling at you. A lady speaks out from among the crowd surround you. "What do you mean? Nothing unusual is happening here."

"Aha! You can't even try to deny that this is weird, everybody saying the same thing over and over again!" Coraliss begins scanning the room trying to pinpoint who is doing the talking.

A single lady steps out from among the crowd. Her clothes change to a black dress that flows onto the floor and a crown of spikes appear on her head. "You came here to seek adventure did you not. If you really want to leave I can give you the adventure of a lifetime. Simply come and join me at my city. Don't worry about the caravan they will do just fine. What do you say?" Currly's eyes light up. "Yes, yes let's do it! It'll be great, I bet it's a huge city!" Merlan's begins to shake his head. "No, no. Let's not do it. Lets just get back to the caravan I prefer my simple life without magic ladies and weird crowds that speak together." The lady looks at both of them and then to Coraliss. "It would seem you are the deciding factor for your group. Would you like to stay in this place. Or come with me?"

Coraliss looked at Currly then back to Merlan. She shook her head " You two just can't agree on anything." She turned back to the woman in the black dress. " I am a firm believe in making educated decisions. I would love some adventure, but I would like to know first who you are, and second if by staying in your city means that you are planning on turning us into mindless people."

The lady laughs. "Oh no young one, this city is not mine it belongs to a friend of mine. I just use it to travel sometimes. See the sites, things like that. But allow me to introduce myself. I am known as the lady of pain. But don't let my name frighten you I only inflict pain on those who deserve it. And if you come with me you will enter the town known as Sigil. Maybe you've heard of it."

The lady laughs. "I enjoy a great number of things my dear." You think about the name Sigil. It was a common name referring to a metropolis of the planes. The whole place was said to be one big city with different sectors and to be ruled by a single person powerful enough to even keep deities out of her realm. Currly speaks up. "Wait, isn't that the place built on a massive ring so you can fly from one end of the city to the other?"
"That's exactly right young one. You sound excited to visit."
"I'm super excited! We should go. Why haven't we left yet!"
"Wait! I don't know much except from what I hear in my clerical training. But a massive city? We aren't from massive cities. We don't know what could be there and it's a planar metropolis..That sounds dangerous.."
"Oh come on, it'll be fun! If we run into danger I'll hold your hand okay?"
"That makes me feel even less safe." The lady directs her question at you. "It would seem that you remain the deciding vote. What do you think?"

Coraliss looks at the woman If we go what will happen to the people here? They seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut with their lives. Coraliss mumbles to herself "or they have been weirdly cursed" I would like to go visit Sigil, but I am worried about the people here too.

The lady looks around at all the people with smiles on their faces. "Why exactly do you choose to help these people? They have not asked for it and seem to be happy. What makes you think they want to be helped?" merlan squints his eyes and walks up to whisper in your ear. "I don't like this lady Coraliss."

Coraliss turns to Merlan and speaks so that the lady will not hear her. "I am not convinced that she is altogether good. We all thought that there was something wrong with this town, well maybe not Currly...though if a brick hit her in the head I'm not sure she would notice it. We are going to have to be careful with this lady. Coraliss turned back to the woman. I apologize for the wait. I am worried about the people of this town, had they been going about their business and were able to tell me why they were happy here instead of repeating the same lines over and over again, then perhaps I would be convinced that nothing was wrong and that they were just overly cautious with putting a barrier around their city. Since they seem to not be able to tell me why they are happy or if they indeed okay then I believe that they are like a child who cannot cry out for help because he does not know to, or has been forced not to. It is because of this that I am worried about them.
