Looking for Adventure

Currly, Merlan, and Coraliss make their way to the cave after about 40 minutes of hiking through the trees. "Alright there it is, who wants to go first?" Merlan turns his head to her. "You said you already went in by yourself a little ways, you should go first."
"Alright Merlan, I'll protect you." She smirks with her comment, merlan squints his eyes and follows behind her as she walks toward the cave. "It's pretty dark in there. Anyone bring a torch?" Merlan looks to Coraliss. "You got a torch?"

Nope!she said smiling. "I thought you were supposed to be the brains Merlan.

Merlan chuckles. "luckily for you two I am." Merlan casts a spell on a nearby branch and it begins to shine like a torch. He picks it up and hands it to Currly. "See what would you do without me?" Currly smiles at him. "I guess we would have had to go back instead of continuing on our possibly dangerous journey. Thanks Merlan!" She begins to skate into the cave. Merlan drops his head and looks at the ground with a look of defeat on his face. He sighs. "She doesn't play fair." He slowly walks behind her into the cave.

"Admit it Merlan, life without her would be boring. Coraliss says as she walks in with Merlan.

Merlan looks up at you. "Yeah I guess you're right." as you go into the cave you see that Currly's assumption was right and the cave foes on for a long ways. Currly skates in front of both of you following the cave for twenty minutes. "Are you sure we aren't going in circles or something, we've been walking forever. No cave is this long.'

[Coraliss Meara]

"I hate to say it, but I agree with Merlan. It does seem like we have been walking a long time. While it has been cool and all, I don't want to get lost, or be late for dinner.Coraliss ended the last part with a huge grin.

Currly sighs and turns around.  "Yeah, you're right.  I really thought we'd find something interesting though." She begins to walk back toward the front of the cave.  Merlan walks just slightly in front of her taking the lead when suddenly he bounces backward and falls to the ground.  "Ow!  What was that!" Currly takes a few steps in front of him with her hand out and it looks like her hand is placed against an invisible wall.  "Well, that wasn't here before."
"You don't say." Currly sticks her tongue out at Merlan and takes out some glitter from her pouch and throws it in front of her.  It hits where the wall is and falls to the ground.

[Coraliss Meara]

"Well I guess we are not going that way...I guess you get your wish Currly. Let's go find us something interesting, or at least a way out.

[Valor]

Currly smiles and continues walking down the path. After about five more minutes of walking a visible red light begins to shine from farther down the path. Currly gets excited and begin to skate as fast as she can toward the light. Merlan runs after her. "Currly wait, we don't know what that is!"
"It's an adventure!" Merlan continues to chase her until you all arrive at the source of the light. At the end of the tunnel is a giant hole with a city placed in it. The entire city including the buildings and roads are all glowing red. There are people walking around the town just like normal and not glowing, no one seems to notice your group standing in the tunnel overlooking the city.

[Coraliss Meara]

"Well, some how I doubt that this is on the map." Coraliss turns to Currly. "So what are our chances that they are friendly?

Currly takes off and fly's down to the city without giving a response. Merlan turn to you with a sigh. "Not very high, not very high at all." He pulls himself over the edge and begins to climb down the rocks.

Coraliss tries to climb down after Merlan.

You climb down the side of the cliff easily. Currly is standing in awe inside the city staring at the people and buildings. None of the people glance at any of you. Merlan stops just short of stepping onto the red cobblestone at the city's base. "I don't know if I'm comfortable walking on that."

"Well here goes nothing! Coraliss steps onto the cobblestones walking towards Currly.

Merlan reluctantly follows you onto the cobblestone and over to Currly. She turns in excitement to you both. "Look at this place, isn't it so cool. I wonder how they're making it glow like this?!" Merlan sighs. "Currly we're in a glowing city that's inside an inescapable cave. And all the people here look brainwashed. This isn't cool at all."

[Coraliss Meara]

"Well maybe they aren't brainwashed...Coraliss walks over to the closest person. "Hi, um...I think we are lost.

[Valor]

The closest person is a male. He gives he a blank stare but has a unnaturally big smile on his face. "Lost? No, no little one you have been found by the wonderful city. Stay here and be happy." He turns back around and continues to walk off. As you look around you notice that you now can't see outside the city you just see barriers of red that block off the outside world.

[Coraliss Meara]

" Did anyone else find that creepy? AND WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, CALLING ME LITTLE! Coraliss turns back to Currly and Merlan. "Guys I have a really freaking feeling about this. I think we need to find a way out of here.

[Valor]

Merlan throws his arms up. "Yes, thank you finally!" He runs over to the barrier and gets knocked down on his back. ow, dang it I should have seen that coming." Currly laughs at him on the ground. "This isn't funny Currly, we need to get out of here. This place is freaky." Currly skates around to behind Coraliss. "Sounds like an adventure. You lead the way Coraliss." She gives a bright smile.

[Coraliss Meara]

"Curry, I think you might be a little too chipper for this." Coraliss turns around and heads towards the center of town "Well we might as well head for the center of town. Maybe we can find someone on the way or there who can tell us what is going on. As they walk Coraliss keeps stopping people to see if they know of a way to get out.

Everyone you stop on the way smiles unnatural smiles at you and says the same phrase word from word. "No one ever leaves this town. Stay here and be happy." Then they walk away without another word. When you get to the center of town all the red walls surrounding the town begin to disappear and you see massive forest trees are now surrounding the city.

[Coraliss Meara]

"what?! This is weird. It's like they have all been brain washed. I'm a little afraid that when we find someone who knows what is going on we aren't gong to like him. Coraliss starts checking out the buildings in the area looking for one that seemed more important than the others. "If we can find who did this to these people, maybe we can undo it.
