You whiff your swing and flop over on your back. The lizard tries to bite Aeryn, and Aeryn tries harder to land his crucifix pin. The lizard can't quite reach Aeryn, and Aeryn gets the lizard pinned.

You kick its neck and feel a crunch up your foot and it dies. "A deadly hug and a few punches later, Aeryn and Valor have killed the monstrous monitor! They'll get their gold later, but give them their glory, ladies and gents!" The crowd cheers for you both for a couple seconds before the noise dies down to a casual hubbub.

(450 XP for this fight. Also, I have Aeryn at 3,050 XP and he should only be 1,000 behind you. Was there a time when he got XP when you didn't?)

(I'd be more then happy to boost my exp to 4,050 but I have it at 3,525)

Valor stands up and helps up Aeryn if off the creature and helps him walk if he needs it. "Well, that counts as glory I suppose. But who cares as long as we get the gold."

Valor smiles. "Yeah, one more and we can probably pay for the next two weeks." He chuckles and sits down on a bench. "Maybe our next match will be another animal too."

You're called in for another match in about half an hour. In the middle is a human in his late teens shadow boxing. He has bright red shorts on, no shirt, a red headband, and cloth wrapped around his hands. He punches the air a few times and throws his hands out to the crowd before punching more air. "What? What? What ya gonna do now? Huh? What you gonna do now? Who they got for me? Huh? Halflings? Alright, alright, alright. Let's go!" The announcer speaks. "Next up is a newcomer who insisted on taking two at once for his first fight. His name is... Roxor and his Boxors? The deadly hugger and punchy seemed the perfect match for him. Fight!" Roxor runs toward you two with a haymaker ready to go, "Thumbs up, boys, let's do this! ROOOOOXOOOOR'S BOOOOXOOOORS!" Aeryn puts his dagger away, "Fists it is then."

(Alright, here's what I got on XP: dogs – 200, Ants – 300, Spiders 525, Mutineers – 900, lizard – 450. It all adds up to 2,375. You're at 3,375 unless we find how you got an extra 150 XP. I don't even know how I got that far off.)

Aeryn tries to punch Roxor in the side of the knee and draw him in to a leg lock, but Rozor switches his lead leg back to avoid the punch and throws a knee strike at Aeryn's head. He misses as well.
