Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
A man in a black robe was reported living in a cave outside of Espar. Th witness reported that they man had glowing red eyes and sharp teeth. He also said that the man had undead followers inside the cave.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
(Sorry for the pause, I have been doing a lot of things recently.)
Ravaatris rolls up the contract and looks back at the man.
Sounds perfect. Would you mind pointing out where the cave is on my map?
Ravaatris pulls out and unfolds her map for the man.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The man points it out and shows you the best path to get there. "Good luck and try not to die. We've been in the market for some new blood that's actually worth something." He waves his hand gesturing for you to leave.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Don't worry, I am sure I can handle the issue.
Ravaatris turns to leave, and she passes a quick glance to the wight to let him know it is time to go. She will make her way to the cave outside of Espar if she faces no trouble on the way there.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
You make your way to the cave. There are no real issues besides it being kinda hot outside. maybe around 80 degrees. Something like that. You find the cave entrance exactly where you expected it to be.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris, with her Darkvision and Low-Light vision, makes her way into the cave, keeping herself keenly aware of her surroundings.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
near the front entrance of the cave you notice several wires hung 1 foot,3 feet, and 5 feet off of the ground.
Tumble check to get around unless you have another way:

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris, noticing the wires, backs up until she is about thirty feet from the wires. She proceeds to cast Magic Missile, having one missile target each wire, and excess missiles hit the cave wall.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
(interesting choice)
All three wires break and a loud pitch ring echoes through out the cave and back to you. Your wight squints its eyes. "Are you sure that was the best idea?"

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris simply smiles and says.
It undoubtedly was, now all the undead this Necromancer has summoned will come to us. Let's go!
Ravaatris heads into the cave, keeping a constant eye and ear out.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The farther you walk into the cave the darker it becomes not being lit by any type of torch or other means of light. It's not a problem for you or your wight however. You come to a fork in the cave where there is a path going right and one going left.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
(Do I hear or see anything down either path with my constant spot and listen check?)

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
(you don't see anything, and the high pitch sound is drowning out all other noises.)
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris heads down the left path, still maintaining her constant spot and listen.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
After heading down the left path. Everything appears to come to a dead end but your elven eyes spot a secret door hidden behind illusionary rocks.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris turns to the wight, and she points to the illusionary rocks as she says.
Those rocks are an illusion, and a door is hidden behind them. Go and open the door!

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The wight walks over and puts his hands on the rocks to him they feel completely real. He glides his hands over them and pushes, when he pushes he falls through them and hits the door, his eyes widen and he opens the door to reveal a stairway. This time it's covered in torches lighting your way down.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris walks in front of the wight onto the stairs and simply says.
Come!
Ravaatris descends down the stairs with her constant spot and listen of 33.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
when you reach the bottom of the stairs a elven man wearing a black robe stands up with a short sword in his hand. "Well you seem to be persistent, what do you want?"
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris looks at the elf with a emotionless face.
Are you the necromancer that has taken a liking to crawling around in this... Ravaatris' face turns to one of disgust as she observes the dirt in the cave. cave?

The mans eyes widen. "I'm..I'm no necromancer, I just like staying in caves is all. and I study undead for...Science reasons." In the corner of the room you notice a small pile of about four animal bodies.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris notices the dead animals.
