The Necromancer moves to Espar
The guard thinks for a moment. "Well the black dogs primarily own this towns mercenary work. You could always go sign up with them. But that're rather particular about who they take, I don't know if you would make the cut." You can see him measuring you up and down with his eyes and he seems taken back by your lack of armour and weapon. "However I think I remember someone reporting a thief hiding out in a cave. Stole something from him, you could go see what that's about. The report is in the guard barracks just west of here." You hear a man yelling further into town. "Cheese wheels, get your cheese wheels here! Best cheese in all of Corymr."
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris raises an eyebrow at the guards assessment of her ability, but she puts a smile back on and says.
Particular are they, I am sure it should be no trouble. Might you point the way to the Black Dogs place of residence?

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The guard nods his head. "Of course they are just down the road here toward the market place. They have a massive guild hall with two signs out front. You can't miss it." The guard goes back to standing his post.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris heads towards the guild hall with her wight servant behind her. She enters the guild hall and looks around for someone whom might seem to be a part of the Black Dogs.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
As you walk into the guild hall you instantly notice that the walls are covered with different weapons and armour. As well as different trophies that have been presented to the black dogs by different mayors and other notable figures. There are two guards that stand beside the front door. In front of you there is a man in heavy armour holding a great-sword sitting in a chair. There are two doors behind him one on the left and one on the right. Each door has two more guards standing at them. The man sitting in the chair stands at attention when you walk into the room. "Good evening ma'am, would you like to hire the Black dogs to complete a contract for you?" He continues to stand at attention waiting for your response.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris looks at each of the individuals in the room, and then turns her attention to the man who spoke. She puts on an innocent smile.
Actually, I have decided to join your guild.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Every guard in the room breaks position as they turn to look at you. The man that was talking lowers his head and stares at your smiling face. "You..Wish...to join us. The Black dogs. Ma'am we are a devoted mercenary company. We kill for money and are willing to take any job, I don't think you have what it takes to join us." The other guards tense back up to their original positions but continue to stare at you from behind their helmets.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris' smile changes to a more amused smile, and she gives a quick glance around the room for trivial furniture.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The only trivial furniture in the room not nailed to the wall would be the chair the man was sitting on. Nailed to the wall is a few shelves and glass cases that hold up the trophies of the guild.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris makes a series of motions with her hands as she speaks strange words, she then points her finger at the chair the man is sitting on and a ray shoots towards the chair. (She cast Disintegrate)
Ranged Touch Attack: +9
Result: Nat 1 (We shall have words about these dice of yours. haha)
(When used on nonliving matter, it simply disintegrates ten cubic feet of the object without the need to roll damage.)
(In case you need to know, it is a fortitude 26 Save for partial damage)

Result: 20 (Wish I had gotten that the first time.)
(If it hits something nonliving, it will disintegrate 10 cubic feet of it.)

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
(I was secretly hoping you hit one of the guards)
You cast the spell and it hits the floor under the chair causing it to burn up. The chair falls through the floor (there is dirt directly under it) onto the ground. The man turns around and looks at the floor. Then turns back around and looks at you. "Oh, I see so your one of those magic users. Damn freaks." He sighs and walks to his right ,opens the door, and motions for you to walk through. "This way is for guild members. Down the stairs first room on your right is the guild leader he'll get you signed up."

(I know you were)
Ravaatris walks off with her wight in tow down towards the guild leader. She heads to the first room on her right.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
As you open the door you see a man sitting in a fine chair. Everything else in the room besides the chair looks to be messy and unkempt. He turns to look at you as you enter. "What's wrong you get lost, who are you?"
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris keeps her posture upright, maintaining a more regal posture. She looks to the man in the chair and speaks.
Not at all, I assume you are the leader of this guild. Well I am here to join, your friend upstairs told me to come down here after I showed him my proficiency in the arcane arts.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The man gives you a stern look. "So you're a wizard, not sure how much that'll help you in a fight. But it won't keep you from joining. I am the leader of this hall." He grabs a piece of paper off of a nearby night stand and bring it over to you. "Hear sign this, and you'll be a permanent member of the Black dogs."
Examining the contract there are some key points.
1) You have to take what ever job you are given
2) You get payed what they give you, contract doesn't matter
3) You devote your life to the Black dogs, you must come in at least once a month to receive a new contract.

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris looks over the contract, and then she looks back at the guild leader.
My skills are best put to use fighting against the hordes of the undead. As such, I would prefer it if missions of that nature fell to me, rather than other such work.
Diplomacy Modifier: +10
Diplomacy Result: 7+10=17

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
The man nods his head and keeps a straight face. "If that is what you want I'm sure the others would be happy to let you have first dibs on those contracts."
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris nods her head, and then she signs the document and hands it to the man.
Now, I don't suppose you have any such jobs already available?

Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
the man takes back the document and rolls it up. Before putting it back over on the table. "Let's see what we can get you." He walks out of the room and down the hall toward a small room with several different papers pinned up and several stacks of papers sitting on tables. He picks up one of the stacks and begins to look through them. When he is about a quarter of the way through them he takes out a sheet and shows it to you. "We got this one about a month ago. Some necromancer living in a cave, the city wants us to clear him out. Shouldn't be problem for you right?" He holds out the paper toward you waiting for you to accept the contract.
Re: The Necromancer moves to Espar
Ravaatris takes the sheet, and she looks it over.
