A Necromancer in Waymoot
As Ravaatris gets close to Waymoot, she casts the spell Disguise Self to change her appearance to look like she did before becoming a lich. Her hair appears a mix of blond and silver, her eyes appear green, and her skin appears pale white. She seems middle aged for an elf. After casting the spell, she strolls into sight of Waymoot and heads toward the sprawling city. She moves to walk into the city. (I am not sure if the city has walls of some kind, and if the gate would regularly be open in the day time for visitors and residents alike. Please let me know so that I know how to deal with entering this city.)

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
(I assume that there is a small wooden fence, and that the gates would always be open)
You enter into a small run down town. The guards at the gate welcome you as you enter with nice warm faces. But behind them the civilians look dirty. As if they lived in dirt huts instead of homes. The buildings are mostly made out of wood and seem to be falling apart. Held together by make shift repairs one after another. Mostly humans walk the town though you do see some other races walking around.

Ravaatris sees the filthy looking conditions of the city, and notices how low these vermin are compared to herself. However, she has a goal, and this town is the perfect first step. She activates her amulet of detect good as she looks around for weak morally upright vermin that might not put up much fight.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
you see green outlines come around several of the citizens and several of the guards. The main citizens that it covers are a few children that are running around together and appear to be playing tag ignoring the awful conditions that they are in and having the most fun out of life that they can. There is a single women that sits on a bench she looks kinda sad but smells a flower and looks at it with a lot of purpose. Then there are two beggars that sit next to each other asking people for any spare coin they might have.
Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
Ravatris walks up to the beggars sitting around. She looks to the one that seems most fit to move and she puts on a smile and speaks up in an innocent tone.
Excuse me, but could you by chance escort me to this cities graveyard? I would pay you for your time, 50 gold pieces?

The man's eyes gleam in excitement. "fif...fifty gold pieces?" He jumps out in excitement and smiles the biggest smile that he has given in years. "Yes of course miss. Right this way." He begins leading you and keeping a close on you. He looks very happy smiling from ear to ear as he walks you down the street toward the graveyard.
Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
Ravaatris maintains pace with the filthy beggar, despite how much she loathes his presence. Still she keeps up the charade.
Thank you so much for this. You see, a good friend of mine passed away last year, and I, unfortunately, have not been able to make it here since then, for my business takes me to far off lands. However, I finally was able to come down, but alas, I do not know the layout of this city at all. So thank you again for your kindness.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
The man lets his fall down into a frown. "I'm truly sorry to heard that madam I'm sure they were a good person. And how thoughtful of you to come all the way out to a place like this to visit such a dear friend of yours." You make it to the graveyard where it is very obvious that it is not well kept. The tombstones are covered in weeds and scattered all over the area. And it appears that there are graves in places with no tombstones overhead. The entire graveyard is surrounded by wooden spikes that make a fence like object but it is also covered in weeds and is falling apart at several locations.
Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
Ravaatris looks around to see if anyone is within sight of the two of them, but she disguises this motive by pretending to be looking at the poor state of the graveyard.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
You do not see anyone around the graveyard. The man follows your eyes and looks around with you. "Yeah it's a sad sight the graveyard sure is in pour shape. Someone should really fix this place up."
Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
Ravaatris looks at the man and says
Perhaps someone will some day. Oh well, my friends grave should just be a few tombstones ahead. First though, could you please hold my quiver and bow? I don't feel right approaching the grave of a friend armed.
She takes off her bow and her quiver of x20 unholy arrows and extends them out for the man to grab.

Don't know which one is appropriate.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
(poor, poor man)
The man gives you a slight smile and grabs the bow first, then he reaches his hand around the leather strap of the quiver he feels all of energy drain from him and his veins turn black. He falls to his knees with a look of confusion in his eyes. Then he falls dead on the ground with that look for ever planted on his face.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
Ravaatris' kind demeanor falls into a sinister smile as she whispers to herself.
And so it begins.
Ravaatris picks up her quiver of x20 unholy arrows and her bow, and she places them back on her person. She looks around, and seeing the poor shape of the graveyard's upkeep and the lack of people currently present, she decides to simply wait until nightfall for the beggar to rise back as a more useful creature, a wight. However, she maintains caution while constantly listening and watching for individuals that might happen to enter the graveyard before the night begins. Furthermore, her disguise self spell lasts 2 hours and 10 minutes per cast, and she will use disguise self as soon as the old one begins to end. She will continue doing so until nightfall, and the rising of her first undead servant.
Constant Listen: 10+23=33
Constant Spot:10+23=33
If the wight rises without difficulty, Ravaatris will cast command undead as soon as it is risen, without giving it any chances to react. Save Will:24 Wight Will Save=+5 Wights are intelligent undead, and they speak common.
And so it begins.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
There is a passing guard on patrol that comes near the graveyard but not close enough to see anything. He waves to you and continues on his patrol. The man rises as a wight. And you successfully take control over it.

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
Ravaatris observes the new wight for a moment, and then she speaks.
Greetings my child, I have brought you from the dispair of weak mortality, and given you a powerful and immortal body for which to serve me. Serve me loyally, and I will grant you power. However, if you attempt to betray me, I will return you to the cold dark of nothingness.

The wight looks at you and gives a slight scoff. "You do you think you are mortal to control a being as powerful as myself!" It looks around its surroundings and then turns back to you. "You may be allowed to serve me however..Elf."

Re: A Necromancer in Waymoot
(Unless you are deciding to change something, Diplomacy merely has to beat a set DC, and Intimidate is countered by 1d20+HD+WIS modifier+and save bonus against fear. Command Undead makes an intelligent undead friendly towards the caster, which is one below the highest setting.)
Ravaatris gives off a soft laugh at the ridiculousness that she should serve such a creature, and, since it is night, she lets her disguise spell end. As the skin and flesh fall from her body, she speaks.
Me, serve you? I think not. When it comes to the classification of the undead, a wight, such as yourself, is barely above that of the unintelligent zombie. I, however, am much more powerful than that, I am a lich. I am a mage of such power that I have brought myself from mortality to the realm of the immortal and indestructible. Any attack you could conjure against me would be worthless, you would leave not even a scratch on my perfect form.
As the last bit of flesh falls from her form, she states this last line.
Now, serve me, or die! (P.S. That is an exclamation, it does not mean she is shouting, she is merely giving a command, which requires an exclamation point. You will know I am shouting when I type out that she is shouting.)
Intimidate Modifier: +15
Intimidate Result: 13+15=28
(Better)
