The life of a crook
Teziir, a town of liars, thieves, and any illegal thing you can immagine. This is where Mordred finds himself walking the streets on a normal day. To his left there's shouting and arguing coming from inside the taverns as fights begin to break out. To his right, gambling and slave trade take place behind closed doors and a couple open ones. Guards walk the town streets but only pay attention to certain crimes. The others are treated as if nothing was going wrong. Suddenly a coin purse hits Mordred in the face, with his natural instinct he raises his hands to catch the pouch before it falls to the ground. It feels rather heavy and probably contains a fair amount of coin in it. From down the street guards rush towards his position with their eyes on him.
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred sighs and tosses the pouch in the direction of the guards. As nice as it would be to have the extra money, he felt today would not be the best to mess with guards. As the money leaves his hand he continues to walk in the direction of the city's temple.

Re: The life of a crook
Three primary temples stand in the city. One stands near the center of town just behind the towns courthouse. It is a temple to Olidammara the primary deity of the town. The second temple stands the far right of the town in what would be considered the slums. There stands the temple of Vecna. And the last temple is one to St. Cuthbert it stands near the front gate of the city welcoming in travelers who wish to stay safe while visiting the town.
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred would make his way to the temple of St. Cuthbert. (Between the three it makes the most sense for Leinad to be buried there). He would ignore the guards and most of the cities inhabitants on the way there.

Re: The life of a crook
Mordred makes his way to the temple just fine. There is a small, thin wall surrounding the outside of the temple with a gate in front that gets locked every night. Paladins and clerics also walk around the inside of the wall and stand vigilant at the gate and at the door of the temple. Inside the temple several people visiting or staying in town all sit in the main room talking, eating, and enjoying themselves within the rules of the temple.
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred enters the temple and makes his way to his Father's grave. He keeps an eye out for any sort of head priest on his way there.

Re: The life of a crook
The head cleric stands in the main room talking with commoners who wish to join the temple. He looks very fit and strong wearing heavy armor with an adamantine mace at his side and a light shield with a quote on it that reads. "Chaos and evil prevail where good men do nothing" He has two paladins that stand at his sides also wearing heavy armor but with steel maces and heavy shields without quotes. The catacombs house all of the dead and access is forbidden without a guide.
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred would approach slowly once the man has a moment to speak with him, "Excuse me sir, I would like to visit the catacombs to pay respects to my father."

Re: The life of a crook
The head cleric looks around for a moment and grabs a man by the shoulder. "You there recruit take this man to the catacombs, I have matters to attend to." He walks off with his paladins leaving a slightly disoriented man standing in front of you. He has long blond hair and is much slimmer than several of the other clerics. He is only wearing medium armor with no shield and has a mace strapped to his side. "Um. Yes, hello sir. I will be your escort to the catacombs follow me please." He leads you to the back of the temple and down some stairs, takes a key out of his pocket and unlocks the door locking it back once you both are inside then stands aside. "Feel free to look around, the names of the deceased are above their respective resting places."
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred makes his way to Leinad's resting place. "Hey dad." He looks down at his Father's katana, "Sorry dad, but I'm not ready nor strong enough to use this. I'm going to return it to you until I'm ready. Don't worry, I'll be sure to claim it again someday." (If there is a ledge near his dad's resting place the sword there, if not he would take it with him to the escort).

(There is enough room beside the body to lay it)
The escort stands by waiting for you to finish then escorts you back up to the temple. He locks the door behind you both, gives a slight head nod to you then continues on his way.

Re: The life of a crook
(You guys couldn't have known this, but if Leinad died in the city in my campaign, then no body would have been recovered. Don't mean to ruin the moment or anything.)

(if the body is destroyed then their is a empty urn placed in remembrance of him)
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred then exits the temple and begins meandering his way toward the center of the city, looking for something but unsure of what exactly he is looking for.

Re: The life of a crook
On his way out of the temple Mordred finds a large group collected outside its walls yelling and throwing various items. Several complaints can be heard amongst the crowd and it becomes obvious that several different groups have collected there for their own reasons. In a rush several different clerics and paladins rush by you and their weapons begin to glow with a soft yellow. "Use your merciful weapons my brothers. Quench this rebellion." They from a line in front of the temple and start hitting anyone who comes to close. The line gets charged and a fight breaks out in front of the temple.
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred looks at the nearest paladin, "What's going on?" and waits for a response form someone.

Re: The life of a crook
The paladin stops and turns to look at you keeping his shield up and mace drawn. "Just a small rebellion citizen. Not to worry we are trained for this situation you just wait here and let us deal with this." With that he continues toward the front of the temple to join the other paladins and clerics.

Re: The life of a crook
After the paladin leaves you see a small group of about three people wearing full black enter in through a movable window in the side of the temple. One of them notices you see them and they all sprint off in a different direction.
Re: The life of a crook
Mordred sighed, it was one of those days. He begins making his way towards the window the men entered through (if it's near the ground, otherwise he would make his way to a seat to wait out the rebellion), keeping his eye out for any unguarded valuables nearby.

Re: The life of a crook
There are a couple unguarded things such as candlesticks and small statues nothing worth a lot. The window is only a couple feet off of the floor and easy to get too. Outside the window people scream and yell as they attempt to bully their way past the clerics and Paladins. Some of the more intelligent civilians stand at a distance throwing sharp objects at them.
